Kumpulan Mediiman Sdn. Bhd. (KMSB), the healthcare
arm of TDM Berhad was established in October 1996 with the objectives
- Providing ultra-modern medical facilities with
up-to-date equipment and professional quality services to the population
of Malaysia at affordable cost, and
- Giving good business returns to shareholders
by diversifying into medical –related services in and outside of Malaysia.
KMSB with a paid up capital of RM4.4 million and
authorized capital of RM5.0 million, has structured its organization
as a holding company owning and managing a few medical centers in
Malaysia. As a part of its development strategy, KMSB has built and
operated two private hospitals. This has been proven by the success
stories of Kuantan Medical Centre (KMC) which has opened in October
1997 and followed by setting up of Kelana Jaya Medical Centre (KJMC)
in August 1999.
Another medical center to be called Darul Iman
Medical Centre (DIMC) is planned to be fully operational in early
2002. As a synergistic move, KMSB has also opened and managed three
private General Practitioner clinics in the Klang Valley area.
KMSB’s expansion programmes evolves around innovative
healthcare solutions systems in the primary and secondary sector thus
creating a fully integrated provider of healthcare services and facilities.
In the era of biotechnology and biosciences, KMSB are taing advantage
of its healthcare-related products.
